Gephi Workshop at Northeastern’s NULab

On March 25, the NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks is holding a Gephi workshop on static/dynamic network visualization that I’m leading.  Details and materials for the workshop follow below.

Time: Tue, March 25, 2014 – 12:00-1:30pm

Location: Northeastern University, Dana Building floor 5, CCNR

Description: This workshop provides an introduction to basic and advanced network visualization techniques using the free software tool Gephi ( We will go over data structure and formats, graph layouts, various features and controls that help highlight key aspects and uncover hidden patterns in a network. The workshop will also cover dynamic graph visualization: a way to present the evolution of network structure over a period of time.
