On March 25, the NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks is holding a Gephi workshop on static/dynamic network visualization that I’m leading.  Details and materials for the workshop follow below.

Time: Tue, March 25, 2014 – 12:00-1:30pm

Location: Northeastern University, Dana Building floor 5, CCNR

Description: This workshop provides an introduction to basic and advanced network visualization techniques using the free software tool Gephi (www.gephi.org). We will go over data structure and formats, graph layouts, various features and controls that help highlight key aspects and uncover hidden patterns in a network. The workshop will also cover dynamic graph visualization: a way to present the evolution of network structure over a period of time.
